He is in college now and doing well - because of the high quality teaching of the staff, the caring of support staff and the wonderful director Dawn Gutierrez. She is the best school director/administrator we have ever encountered. She balances sound education practices with unique instruction for kids with learnind disabilities, helps her staff grow and develop and ALWAYS keeping the growth and development of the children as her top priority. Our son has was one of 6 kids in his Algebra class - the teacher adapted the course to teach it to each of the students the way they needed to learn it. All were sucessful! It was a huge finacial sactrifice to our family to send our son here but he wouldn't be in college today if we hadn't done it.”

The teachers are highly-trained and completely devoted to the kids. The kids are also a terrific bunch. Each child at New Way struggled to succeed at his or her previous school(s). Most come to New Way lacking confidence; many lack appropriate social skills. But at the supportive New Way environment, the kids learn they can succeed and they begin supporting and encouraging each other. My own child has become a confident, capable student who is eager to learn and get involved in the variety of activities available to New Way students. The transformation has been truly amazing.”
