Vicki A. Romero High School Reviews

My daughter just started her Junior year at Romero and I am very disappointed. She has had great teachers the last 2 years and now all of her support system is gone. For some reason most of the teacher's are no longer there. It seems that turnover is very high and it creates a lot of inconsistency.

This school has severe leadership and administrative issues. Teacher turnover is an extreme problem; 5 highly qualified teachers who had been at the school for 4 years let go with no explanation or reason, leading to a student walk-out. Administration has had 3 principals in three years...leadership cares about own money versus student achievement.

Vicki A. Romero provides a friendly atmosphere for its students unlike many big high schools. Individuals are recognized for their accomplishments instead of the school. Students graduating from the high school can use a local scholarship to go to college.

This is an excellent school with caring, professional, hard-working, dedicated, involved teachers and great academic programs.

Exciting, state of the art, student and teacher involvement...if a student wants to work hard...the sky is the limit.
