Academy of Arizona - North Reviews

I like the fact that this school has small classes. It means that the teachers can get to know your children. However, this school has inexperienced teachers and plays favorites with children. My children have felt extremely singled out for reprimands since they started attending this school last year.

AZ Academy is an excellent school. The academic programs are amazing. There is much parent involvement. The teachers are fantastic, very professional and dedicated. This year my child learned a lot in math, science, reading and writing.

My child has begun Kindergarten as of this past August. He is enthusiastic about attending and looks forward to completing his homework. He is progressing well with writing and association skillss. So far my husband and I are pleased. I do wish they could hurry on obtaining playground equipment however.

Kudos to the staff. You did a wonderful job. This was the first year this school was open and I think everyone did great with what they had to work with. Think of what they will do next year when they have all the stuff they need! My son grew so much this year-I often cry with joy when I think about it.

This is a good school but it needs some work done.

My children just finished their first year at this school. The academics were wonderful and the teachers are caring and great! However...The school needs a lot of work done to it. It is filthy and the kids often have to act as the janitors. No administrators are ever on campus to answer questions or solve problems. They never return phone calls either. I would send my kids back if they make improvements and they are assigned to particular teachers. Don't believe what the principal says because it won't happen. When you go just keep in mind what you see is what you get. Make sure your child gets the right teacher..Otherwise go somewhere else.
