St. Louis the King School Reviews

We have four children at St Louis and have every intention of sending our two year old from Pre-K to 8th Grade here. All of the teachers that have taught our children (we've had a student with every single teacher now) have been very well qualified, and very caring as well. The principal and the office staff are amazing. They will work with you in every way to make sure your child is receiving a good education. They know every single child in that school by first name, and they love each and every one of them. It is a tight-knit community that accepts newcomers with open arms. We have been to two other Catholic schools, but we have found our home here, for both our school and our Parish.

My kids 5th & 8th grades have attended since Kindergarten and we couldn't be more pleased! It is truly the staff & the families that make this an excellent school.

As a parent of 3 children that have attend sence pre-k, I rate this school A+. With all respect to those parents that didnt find it good enough for there children, maybe they should have been more involved in all activities. Don't forget that we are there teachers at home before the actual teachers. as a parent we need to interact and get involved. its a 50/50. I trust and love the way my children are being treated and the way they interact with them. My children always get involved in activities and also take extra classed after school. As for the daycare Mrs pat and mrs Larry are great. Way to go!, I also thing Mr and Mrs Baldonado do great helping our children after school. As for Mrs Jennifer we love her shes a wounderful person and is there early in the morning. Thanks to all the staff. A++++

My daughter attended SLK for the past three years. First of all there is no cafeteria. You have to buy a seperate milk ticket. Huge problem. The teachers were adequate. Discipline problems throughout apparenly thers not a program or anti-bullying plan for staff or dtudents. I have worked in three public schools in Phoenix and they are implemented. Good religion instruction. Kudos to Miss Kathy in front. And come on guys cant we get a playground moniter thats female and under eighty and clean shaven? Lowers your comfort level. Grounds are always wee- maintained. Out of 5, I give SLK a 2,

Pre- K program is excellent. Wonderful addition to the school. Small community feeling makes kids feel safe and parents feel appreciated.

I have two kids 4th & 7th grade who have attended since Kindergarten (sadly pre-k was not yet opened for them) Everything about school is excellent. Despite what others have said, tutoring is available, teachers are dedicated and principal is top-notch.

My children attend St.Louis the King for 2 years now, with the tuition increasing next year, me and my husband are wondering is it truly worth it, I wish I could be honest but this school lacks a connection between the Catholic values we send our children to Catholic school for, and the Principle is not approachable when it comes to discipline, I feel that their is no discipline policy at this school not what you would expect from a Catholic school. I read the comments posted for this school and I would have to agree ! with our economy the way it is we all do have choices now more than ever.As for me and My Family we will invest else where.

From my experience at St Louis The King I think that we have wounderful staff and they work extremely hard with the children. I have 3 children and they all attend school here sence pre-k. I have seen an inprovement in my childrens education. To me it's great to see my children to go school and have a smiling face, I love to listen to them when they come home and tell me what they learned and what new experements they done in science class . The staff goes out of the way to work with the children and the parents to help and find a solution, when a child needs the extra help. The help is there when you need it!! Way to go to all the staff. As for the principal she is an amazing person. so as for my family we love her and THANK HER!!

I love this school. My son attended this school from 3rd to 6th grade and the beginning of 7th grade. The principal is amazing and so is Kathy the Secretary! We moved back to California, so this is why my son is no longer there. We miss this school so much. They have fun Fundraising events like Pancake breakfast. My son now attends a Catholic School in Los Angeles and we are so sad that he is not getting the top notch education he was getting at St Louis the King. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a great education for their kids and the community is very friendly and inviting. I miss everyone at St Louis the King and my son has fond memories of all his teachers. Maybe one day we'll move back and if so, i putting my daughter in this school.

I have 2 kids in st. Louis the King, and will send my youngest in 3 years. I am really happy with the school. The teachers are great and the principle Mrs Daigle is the perfect mix of love and disipline.

As a parent of a child of this school I would have to give it an A+! The academics at St. Louis the King are top rate. The teachers are very good at individualizing lessons yet making them challenging to all. The teachers are extremely nice, caring, helpful and communicate with parents on a regular basis. Music, Art, Sports and other extracurricular activities at this school are awesome! The students receive Spanish, Music, Computers, Library, P.E. and Art once a week. The principal is friendly and respects all children and parents. The after school sports program is fun and are for fifth through eighth graders. The coaches are great with the kids and concentrate on teaching the sport while still being competitive. Parents are very involved at St. Louis the King. It feels like one big community. Overall everyone is very friendly and helpful. You should consider sending your child here.

My son attended in 3rd grade, which was excellent. Mrs. Kelly was and still has been the best teacher he ever had, in instruction, structure, and discipline. My son still talks fondly about her. I heard good things about the school from Kindergarten through 3rd. However, 4th grade is an entirely different story.

Saint Louis the King School is a great school, I can't say much about 'their' preschool program. The only good thing about it is that it is inexpensive, and if you have DES, you have it made. The kids can come from 6:30am to 6:00pm for one low price.

I feel that the principal at this school has no respect for the parents. They take pride in having an advance curriculum when it is not that advanced. They also say they have a low tuition. There is a reason. They have to appeal to someone looking for a better education for their child. I would not recommend this school except for there preschool program.

The academic program in this school is pretty good. Sports is offered to boys and girls grades 5-8. The sports programs are great. Spanish and art are only held every other week. Spanish should be held 2-3 times per week. No less than once a week. The parental involvement in this school is wonderful. I feel the leadership in the school and christian atmosphere has diminished greatly the last few years.

The academic teaching at this school is the best in my 20 years of dealing with school both public and private. The standards are set high but the students are able to achieve their goals. Availability of the Arts, Music, Sports, and other extracurricular activities are boundless to interest children with all kinds of likes. Parent involvement is about in the average to high side of most school, the difference is the parents work together instead of bucking heads.

I love this school. I have two children enrolled and a third who will start in two years. The teachers and staff are wonderful and truly care about the students. Parents are strongly encouraged to be involved in their children's education. I feel very lucky to have found St. Louis the King.

This is a pretty decent school. It has the lowest tuition in the area from my research. The teachers have a vast amount of experience and their sports teams place very well in competition and tournaments. It's small but I like the sense of community.
