Apollo High School Reviews

The teachers are very nice and they seem like they are being mean when they make you take the test and do other things that kids don't like but it is for the best

I am an Apollo graduate and have nothing but good things to say about Apollo. The teachers/coaches really care about the students, their education and their future. There was good communication between teachers/coaches and parents, a multitude of after school activities/clubs, the athletic departments are great and it is a healthy environment for teens.

This High School has exceeded our expectations for both of our children. They both attended private schools previously in California. The teachers are amazing and the Principal has turned this school completly around from what I hear in years past. Great staff!

My husband attended Apollo High School. My son is now in his Sr. year at Apollo. Apollo has great academic and athletic programs. The teachers are great, and I have to give a lot of praise to his counselor, she is up on everything that he needs to graduate and attend college. The Varsity baseball coach is great, and he cares alot about the kids on the team. He doesn't care about just winning, but also about having fun. I wouldn't send my kids to any other high school.

My children all attended Apollo. The school is in a major decline that mirrors this part of Glendale. The teachers at Apollo truly care about the welfare of their students, but are restricted by an administration that is part of the Glendale Union High School District good ole boy network.

This school is a great school academic wise an extra curricular wise they are always improving and doing whats best for the students and always finding ways to make school more enjoyable.

Not impressed with the way the school handles discipline. The quality of the acedemics is ok and they seem to have a large number of clibs and activities. Regardless of this parents involvement, no acceptable resolution was given. Had to pull my child out of this school after 1 month.

Really good school, as long as your child will go and stay there.

Great administration at this school.

Apollo has great academic programs as well as athletic ones. Students are given positive influences and many opportunities to strive in a great learning enviroment. But there are some bad apples, as in every school. As long as your student stays focused, they will achieve greatness at Apollo.

My oldest son is now in his second year and my middle son in his first year at Apollo. This is the second generation of our family to attend Apollo High School. Although no school is perfect, we are pleased with the learning environment. The NJROTC teachers as well as other teachers, coaches, and staff are very supportive and really seem to care about the students. The school has been very supportive of our kids transferring from being home schooled. If the school continues with its positive learning environment and general positive atmosphere, our third son will also attend this school.

I found Apollo to be an overall good school. I believe that they have a lot to offer the young adults that attend. They have many programs that allow the teens to experience different events in life. One thing that I wished the school would offer was an online look at my childs progress. Some teachers offer access to them through e-mail but not all teachers. I also wich their web site was more informative as to what the school offered as it pertains to programs, classes, school policy.

Apollo high school is a fun and safe place for all the students. The staff is nothing short of amazing. Apollo in a great place for any high schooler to attend, becauses it gives you an opportunity for an excellent education.I would highly recommend this school for anybody.
