Greenbrier Elementary School Reviews

Outstanding in terms of expectations and performance both from teachers and students. The principal is a very caring, devoted educator who truly believes 'all children can learn...no exceptions!'

The teachers are wonderful, caring, hardworking, and do an excellent job! My daughter started in the Special Ed Preschool, then I mainstreamed her to kindergarten and now she is a 5th grader and has been an honor roll student. I can't say enough about the principle, she's very committed.

We live out of district, and our daughter went to Greenbrier on a variance for kindergarten and first grade. We thought that she might need to make 'neighborhood friends,' so we put her in the local school for second and third grade, but ended up having nothing but problems with the teachers and staff. Even worse, she really didn't seen to be excelling in her academics. We decided to move her back to Greenbrier this year for fourth grade, and she has been on the honor roll all year! She is so happy to go to school every day, and we couldn't be happier with her progress. The teachers and staff are wonderful, and the principal, Miss Brammer, is awesome!

Although I think this is still one of the better schools in the district, some of the teachers seem to be really burnt out.

My grandson has been going here since kindergarden and is now in the third grade. He has always has great teachers and just loves his school...so do all of us here at our house! We will do all we can to have him finish through the 6th grade here. Thank You Greenbrier.

My 4 kids went to this school for 5 years and the teachers were great!! But everyone in the office are really bad and have no resepct for parents unless they are made of money and 'fit in' they love to talk about parent behind there back and favor students

My son has been attending Greenbrier for 2 years now. His last school did nothing for him at all. What they did do is label him a troubled child. So we transferred him to Greenbrier. These past 2 years my son has blossomed and the troubled child in him has been tamed. The staff at Greenbrier took the time to work with us (the family) and my son, and I am very thankful for their assistance in education my son. There has been such improvement in his behaviors, this attitudes and his home life due to the skilled teachers that they employ. We feel so strongly about this school that we have transferred his sister there also. School is hard enough these days with the struggles that kids face and it should be a safe environment. We trust these people with our most precious gifts. I thank you Greenbrier.

All three of my daughters attended Greenbrier for five years. It an excellent school in which the staff care very much for their students and the education and welfare of the children. The facilities are clean and the security is top-notch! I cannot say enough about how much my daughter excelled when she attended special needs preschool and then kindergarten with the help of the teachers and therapists, she is up to speed with her grade now. It's amazing. We also enjoyed the special fairs and fundraisers of the PTO. Great School!

Top of the line all the way!! Our children have truely had a wonderful experience at this school. Great leadership, teaching, curriculum and parent involement. Great preperation for jr. high and high school. Highly recommended. :)

I have been very impressed with the preschool program. Our oldest daughter has just graduated on to Kindergarten and our youngest is more than excited to start preschool in the fall. I can not say enough to give kudos to the teachers and office staff at Greenbriar.

My son who has ADHD has done nothing but 'excel' since we put him in Greenbrier 2 years ago. He went from struggling day to day, to being on the Pricipal's list with all A's! I attribute a lot of his progress to his excellent teachers!

My son has been at this school 1 1/2 years so far and I'm impressed with what I've seen. Every teacher I've met is very friendly and has the kids under control. They learn so much within six hours. My son is happy and doing very well.

Parents are very welcome and highly encouraged to participate in school activities. Our daughter attends because of her special needs. She is currently enrolled in a CD1 (Communication Disorder) program as she has Down syndrome. It is of course a language based classroom with 10 kids, a teacher and 2 aides. The kids abilities vary but each child's program is made to fit his/her IEP. We are very happy with the leadership of the principal and her attention to parents and students. The support specialist is very open to meeting with parents to discuss the progress of the students. There are also other specialized classes on campus and I have found everyone to be quite encouraging to 'differently abled' children.
