Justine Spitalny School Reviews

In regards to the last review. All teachers must be highly qualified,by law, to work at Spitalny. (And they are) All teacher's have resumes on file for public viewing. Special Education is only offered as a last resort, with testing, and only upon parent approval. It 's a difficult process and takes a year to get a child in. if this parent did not want her child in special ed all she had to say was no. I think this is an ill informed parent with an axe to grind. You shouldn't make statements such a these unless you can back them up. I have nothing but wonderul experiences here. Most students are hard to teach and their teachers work three times as hard as any other public employee. The training they receive is the best since they are a Reading First school.Parent involvement is the key.Teachers can't do your job for you!

On my opinion this school hires unprofessional teachers, who are not high certify and doesnt meet the qualifications to teach. I have had a really bad experience with my daughters teacher, what it bothers me the most is that they dont make efforts to educate a child, they just want to get an easy way, and send kids to special education classes.

I really do love this school my daughters have been going here since my oldest started kindergarten she is now in 5th grade. Over the years we have seen a lot of really great changes. The teachers and staff at Spitalny are AWESOME! I wish that more parents would get involved and help the students to learn.

I am really excited about Spitalny's plans to use fine arts to help kids learn. Kids need the balance to become all they can be.
