“I have 2 children who go to bush elementary and its a very good school alot better then the other 2 near my home the children are very rude and have no respect for discipline and others the principal is doing a very good job but the teachers could use an attitude change very quick and better communication” This review was posted by a parent.

“My child goes attended this school and it caused her as well as me nothing but trouble. The students at Maxine O Bush have no respect for adults as well as they're peers. This schools test scores are below average and the principal has a lack of responsibility when it comes to taking control of the students attending Maxine O Bush.” This review was posted by a parent.

“Bush is a school that is mediocre in quality (currently qualified as 'underperforming'), but struggling to do better. Budget cuts on a statewide level and district-wide policies preventing teachers from being fairily compensated-- if implemented-- are sure to lower the quality of teaching, student and teacher morale, and the ability of the school to recuperate from its current status.” This review was posted by a .

“Our three children have attended this school from K-8. As parents, we have a knowledge of the campus that spans 13 years. This school has great potential to foster a positive learning environment. Unfortunately, with many changes of leadership, lack of a clear focus and teachers who do not feel supported, the tone of the school is set by the students rather than by staff and leadership. As a result, expectations are not very high and the environment is not conducive to quality learning. Our students performed well based on their own self-discipline and our efforts as parents to push teachers to teach beyond their set parameters. I do not recommend a student attend this school if their family is going to take a back seat to quality. Parents must push the envelope to make sure their kids receive a good, high quality education. Unfortunately, this school is destined to continue to produce largely unskilled citizens because the philosophy of social promotion continues to dominate their decision making processes. Best wishes to all who choose to send their students to this school.” This review was posted by a .
