Pueblo Elementary School Reviews

I open enrolled my daughter in the Foreign Language Immersion program for the 2007-2008 school year. As part of the 'pilot' group of children, she has had an amazing experience. I am so happy with the quality of instruction and her progress in speaking, reading and writing in Spanish as well as English. She tests above grade level in all skills. Pueblo's administration is very involved in making the school wonderful and I'm very impressed with their commitment and caring. We have a rowing group of parents who are involvd with making Pueblo the best that it can be.

We open-enrolled our daughter from an Excelling school in Scottsdale to Pueblo's Foreign Language Immersion Program. Absolutely love it! The administration and faculty are amazing - we couldn't be happier!

We are extraordinarily pleased with this school. It offers a fantastic Spanish Immersion Program which both are children are attending. Principals and teachers have exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful to have this program offered by SUSD.

I opted our of our neighborhood school to put my daughter in the new Spanish Immersion Program at Pueblo. She is thriving and I am thrilled. The teachers are involved and caring, as is the administration. Parental involvement is really on the rise as well. This is a school on the upswing!

I wish to let all the parents know that there is a unique and caring para-educator that works at Pueblo. She goes above and beyond the call and treats her students and their parents like her own family. This lady is a god send. Pueblo school should feel lucky and proud to have such an outstanding person working there. I can't say enough wonderful things about this lady. Parents, It would be to your advantage to have such an extraordinary caring person futher educate your child. This para educator is the finest there is. This fine lady's name is Lisa Minard. If there was an award for sensitivity, respect, and outstanding merit it wouldn't be enough to thank her...........from a greatful single parent

Pueblo has been terrific for us. I took my son out of another, purportedly higher performing public school last year because his teacher was, frankly, abusive. Here, he has intelligent and caring teachers who actually talk to parents if there's a problem. The principal is superb and led the school to Highly Performing status this year. The Spanish immersion program is excellent and keeps the kids stimulated. My only concern is that Pueblo is next door to Saguaro HS and all its problems. However, the campus seems pretty secure.

We are lucky to have such a great principal and teachers in our community.

School has excellent teachers and a wonderful principal. As long as you are an involved parent, you'll love the education provided at this school.

Pueblo has a great staff and great families. My children are always safe and the environment is positive and encouraging. We could have chose to attend other schools but we really liked the community at Pueblo.

Pueblo is an average school with the potential to be so much better. It needs much more parent involvement.
