Santa Maria Middle School Reviews

I love this school thier are a lot of good people their. This is the best school I ever been to

It's hard to believe this school is performing plus. My daughter is in 6th grade and rarely has any homework. If they want a child to succeed then they should believe in homework. Since they have implemented a new grading system the teachers are spending most of time trying trying to figure it out. How sad!

I have two sons at this school. Some of the teachers I have come in contact with are awesome. I think the principle is prejudiced, and needs to learn how to interact with parents. If the leadership is not right, then it trickles down. If there was another school closer that they could attend in the district they would not be there.

I am very pleased with the teachers and staff at Santa Maria Middle School. They are always very pleasant and welling to assist my children and myself with any questions or concerns we may have. My children have blossomed at Santa Maria because of the great teachers.

This is my son's 2nd year there.I think majority of the teacher's are good but there are a few I dont agree with the way they teach or handle discipline. The lady's in the office are very helpful always.I will miss them when my son switches to the new school in January.

My son is an 8th grader at Santa Maria and my daughter is in the 6th grade. I have a son that went to Santa Maria for 3 years and is now in high school. I would say that I am shocked at the other parents comments. I feel Santa Maria is a great school. My son is at the top of his math class in Algebra and is learning consistently. My daughter is an honor roll student also and I feel that the teaching staff is very good. I feel that there is a lack of parent involvment especially at the sporting events. If there was more parent invlovment then maybe the children would be more succesfull.

This school's teaching is extremely terrible. My child attended there for about 8 months and when she switched to another school she was so far behind it was just sad. There dicipline is very low and the drug involvment is terrible.

They think the school is safe for the students.
