Whittier Elementary School Reviews

i will rate this school a 10. whittier is a very good school. it teaches me lots of new things that i didnt even know or thought of. I love Whittier!!!!!!!!!!!

Whittier is a great school. The teachers and staff are well-trained, dedicated, caring, professional, and hard-working.The principal and office staff are very nice, helpful, energetic, and patient. My daughter loved her teacher this year, she learned a lot in math, reading, spelling, science, writing and social studies.

The teachers and principal are wonderful. They care baout your kids.

This school has improved greatly in the last year, with becoming more committed to education rather than social activities. The teachers are good and committed to the students. I can only stress that this is one place where parent involvement is definitely all the difference. The principal is open to new ideas and isn't afraid to try them. The administrative staff is also very helpful at all times.

I am aware that Whittier is an 'underperforming' school, but I have seen a tremendous growth in the leadership and staff. The students have worked really hard to bring test scores up and the principal is a great assest to the school by holding teachers accountable for student achievement. Whittier is a great school in my opinion with great people to serve our children.
